Anthony has an extensive history working with natural gas and hazardous liquids pipelines and facilities in roles that focus on leading teams through the process of interconnecting assets, geography, and information technology systems. Anthony’s current role has him working to implement emerging geospatial and information management technologies to elucidate complex datasets for business needs and regulatory compliance.

Anthony started with Westcoast Energy Gas Transmission system back in 2001 which is now Enbridge. Throughout Anthony’s tenure, he has worked with all of the major business groups, such as Lands, Integrity, Operations, Engineering, and Emergency Response, promoting GIS as the platform for business intelligence. Prior to working in the energy sector, Anthony provided geospatial services to the forestry sector in areas of hydrology and ecosystem mapping.

Anthony’s educational background includes an M.Sc. in Geographical Information Science, a post graduate diploma in Theoretical and Applied GIS, and a B.Sc. in Geography. Although currently in Alberta, Anthony being a native British Columbian and having worked most of his geospatial career in B.C. understands the important service ICI Society provides and the community it serves.
